ceramic brussels develops creative collaborations with partners committed to its organisation and to the promotion of Belgian and Brussels know-how.

These collaborations make it possible to offer unique, high-quality areas for visitors to discover and take a break, in the heart of the fair.

book & coffee lounge

ceramic brussels is developing a book & coffee lounge hosting 3 Art books & publications publishers, a specialty coffee counter in a 300m2 lounge area inviting the public to meet, read and relax with a specialty coffee by MOK.

The lounge by Ateliers J&J & friends: a space designed in collaboration with Ateliers J&J and a selection of Brussels-based artists.

Ateliers J&J

bespoke coffeeshop and furniture designed in collaboration with Brussels-based artists.

Created in 2012 by two self-taught craftsmen, Ateliers J&J is a self-funded craft-based production unit combining joinery and metalwork.

Production takes place entirely in their workshop on the outskirts of Brussels, ensuring expertise and quality.

The different ranges, using mainly their favourite materials such as wood and metal, are aesthetically pleasing, durable and affordable.

Alongside the collections, Jean and his team are developing a range of made-to-measure products.

The J&J workshops aim to extend their offer to a new public and to promote Brussels artists and craftsmen by proposing collaborations and limited editions resulting from fortuitous and improbable encounters.

The collaboration on ceramic brussels 2025 for the lounge by Ateliers J&J & friends:

- Ateliers J&J
- Bel Albatros
- Studio Elémentaire
- JLBV Studio
- Grond Studio
- Cru Atelier Brussels

Belgian popular cuisine establishment: Restaurant – Delicatessen – Event

Located in Brussels, in the heart of Saint-Gilles, Fernand Obb Delicatessen propose a popular cuisine menu made from the best ingredients, an impeccable service with a dedicated team, in a warm atmosphere and always a relaxed mood.

The establishment selects carefully its products: everything is prepared in its dedicated production workshop, using ingredients from local and Belgian producers.

Fernand Obb was created in Saint-Gilles in the course of 2017 by Cédric Mosbeux, and opened in march 2018.

In October of the same year, it won the Brussels’s best grey shrimp croquetteaward, during the contest organised at Comme Chez Soi with the starred chef Pierre Wynants as the head of the jury. After a second win in 2019, this time with the jury presided by starred chef Lionel Rigolet, Fernand Obb - through Cédric Mosbeux - became an active member of the now yearly contest organisation and the jury.

Fernand Obb, since then, has open a second restaurant in Stockel and is present on many public and private events with its mobile catering service, team and foodtruck.

by Traiteur Benjamin

Passionate about gastronomy, Benjamin Schijns chose to learn from the best: he began his career at Le Pain et le Vin, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Brussels, and went on to work alongside Xavier Faber (Belgium's best sommelier in 2000), becoming his assistant and Maitre D.

He then took up a position as sommelier at the Sea Grill, chef Yves Mattagne's 2-star restaurant. There he learned the discipline and know-how of a restaurant run by the gastronomic elite.

As chef de salle at Gaudron, he managed the team.

In 2009, he launched Traiteur Benjamin, whose quality of service inspires confidence. Word of mouth is spreading, and the business is growing fast.

His wide range of experience, versatility and different hats have won him over as a sommelier, home chef, gourmet caterer and wedding planner. He likes to surprise and delight, and will propose dishes that will awaken all the senses.
