This conversation will explore some of the parallels and crossovers between working artistically with ceramics and painting or drawing. The panel will include artists who may take a painterly approach to working with clay or incorporate other modes of expression alongside their ceramic art

The talk will also dive into some of the considerations and processes that are specific for projects that are commissioned for public institutions such as schools, nursing homes and prisons.
